photocards

I created original artwork, designs, and templates for user customizable photocards for Snapfish. Xml templates were created to control the photo placement and user text fields in the product creation flow and final product. Users would create and customize the photos online and order printed versions. Form factors included flat and two-sided 4×8 and 5×7 cards, folded 5×7 cards, and notecards.

I worked on several iterations of cards as enhancements were added – the ability to have multiple photos, multiple text fields, and print on different paper types. In addition, new designs were developed and added seasonally.

As the platform grew, I also help recruit designers, mentored and trained resources, provided art direction, checked and validated files, and maintained product specifications.

A selection of my original artwork and designs for cards shown below. Photos are stock, text fields are not filled in.
